Spanning across Downtown Houston’s Market Square Park, if you are looking for a fun reason to get out and active on a Saturday that includes your dog, you aren’t going to want to miss this one! Puppies for Breakfast is one of Houston’s longest running dog festivals and is always a fan favorite. There will be a DJ keeping the energy high, and you can expect over 40 vendors from food trucks, pop up shops, and artists for us humans. For your four legged bestie, plenty of treats, dog vendors, and contests.

If you have a dog who thrives in a dog on dog play environment, there will be two large dog play areas, one totalling up to 2500 sqf with an interactive set up. If your dog is one that would rather just hang with you, there’s plenty of other options for them too such as costume contests, a massive dog piñata, lounge areas, raffles, tiny dog races to watch (or enter!), and prizes for both the “Tiniest” and “Largest” Dog in the world. With good food options, drinks both boozy and non-boozy options depending on your Saturday vibes, we are confident there is something for everyone and their dog.
The best part of all? The event is FREE to the public! Since there are so many amazing sponsors it is suggested if you can to bring a minimum donation of $5.00, which will go directly to help a local dog rescue.
