As Sarasota's leading dog training experts, we offer personalized in-home training programs. We apply the principles of behavioral science to create exceptional solutions for dogs and their owners, all under the leadership of our Co-Founders, Dr. Echterling-Savage and Sean Savage.

At Beyond the Dog, our team is passionate about improving dogs’ lives through obedience, manners, and behavioral training. Led by our Co-founders, Dr. Echterling-Savage, and Certified Dog Behavior Consultant Sean Savage, our combination of hands-on experience and science-backed training ensures we maintain the highest training standards.

At Beyond the Dog, every behavior consultant is supported through their peers’ and mentors’ combined expertise and varied backgrounds, building on over 50 years of experience and handling more than 500 hours of new dog training cases each week. Our training programs are supported by doctoral-level research, which, alongside our extensive expertise, helps define Beyond the Dog Sarasota.
