Our Kansas City Board and Train Program is personalized to meet your dog’s unique needs, including addressing challenging behaviors, teaching relevant obedience commands, and achieving your training goals. Our four-week Board and Train Program takes place in Tampa Bay, Florida, and is offered for clients living in Kansas City, St. Louis, and Nashville. Our trainers will personally travel to your home to pick up your dog, and then return for return and follow-up lessons to seamlessly integrate all they have learned into your own home and teach you the skills to ensure long-lasting success in the program.
Your dog will be taught to handle various distractions and stimuli, helping them confidently navigate everyday situations in any environment. We offer practical solutions from the most challenging behavioral problem to puppy obedience training.
All of our programs use science-based training methods that support behavioral wellness. We focus on providing lifestyle restoration to help you take back control of your everyday life. We teach high-level obedience skills, socialization training and treat challenging behaviors that includes:
- Addressing reactivity and fearful behaviors so your dog is comfortable going on walks in public and when guests come over to your home.
- Treating separation anxiety behaviors, so your dog is relaxed when home alone, not being so stressed that they have potty accidents, become destructive, or hurt themselves trying to break out of the crate or door.
- Reducing touch sensitivity, which makes everyday life easier to manage, such as when handling your dog, putting on and taking off their collar, and during veterinary exams and grooming appointments.
- Addressing resource guarding behaviors, that includes guarding food, toys, people, or other high-value items.
