We use the science of behavior to improve the lives of dogs and their owners throughout our community. Our trainers come to us with a life-long passion for helping animals. Every Beyond the Dog trainer is taught our training methods with a level of supervision and mentorship that we proudly stand behind. Simply put, Kansas City is Beyond the Dog’s home. It’s where we started, are today, and will remain for so many years to come. It was the Kansas City community who first welcomed us with open arms and allowed us the opportunity to prove ourselves. It was Kansas City where we met our first Beyond the Dog clients and dogs, experienced and smoothed our first growing pains, and where we hired other like-minded individuals who continue to support our growth today. We can’t thank Kansas City pet owners enough for the love and support they have shown us over the years. It’s because of you that we can look back on our humble beginnings with such fond memories. Introducing the Kansas City Dog Training Team.

Our Kansas City dog training team is a group of individuals passionate about changing the lives of animals through training, and are guided by science. Each team member has made training their career and has worked with a variety of animals.

Beyond training dogs, they are former marine mammal trainers, zoo keepers, and behavioral scientists. Led by founders, Sean and Dr. Kristyn Savage, our team is proud to deliver training programs throughout Kansas City at an unmatched level of quality.
