After training hundreds of cats to successfully use the litter box, we have cat potty training down to a science. Our unique treatment of cat problem behavior draws upon years of experience with cats struggling to use the litter box and is supported by the latest research on feline behavior such as the study by Buffington et al. (2017). This research underscores the importance of considering various factors, including medical, environmental, and behavioral influences, when addressing litter box issues. By incorporating findings from reputable sources, we ensure that our training programs are comprehensive and effective in resolving house-soiling problems for cats and their owners. Our Cat Potty Training and House Soiling Behavior Modification Package offers one-on-one virtual sessions with Dr. Echterling-Savage, our co-founder and Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist (CAAB). Dr.Echterling-Savage is one of only a few Board Certified Behavior Analysts who work in Applied Animal Behavior and one of approximately 50 CAABs in the country. With decades of experience that includes the publication of research papers on canine behavior, Dr. Echterling-Savage’s expertise places her at the forefront of her field, providing consultations that are invaluable opportunity for those seeking long lasting results.
Dr. Echterling-Savage will meet with you virtually to discuss your cat’s behavior and your training goals, where she will design a personalized training plan that meets your cat’s unique needs. Following your first meeting, Dr. Echterling-Savage will provide ongoing support and troubleshoot scenarios that ensure ongoing progress in your cat’s training.
