Executive Cat Aggression Training Program

$1,645
Our Executive Training Program is highly recommended for Dallas cat owners looking to eliminate any cat aggression directed towards other cats or humans in the home.

Our goal is to modify your cat’s aggressive behavior and eliminate all cat conflicts. During our personalized, in-home training programs we target:

  • Reducing or eliminating aggression between cats within the household
  • Minimizing instances of cats fighting over territory or resources
  • Addressing aggression directed toward family members or owners
  • Teaching effective management strategies to prevent future conflicts
  • Increasing understanding of cat behavior and body language to prevent misunderstandings that lead to aggression
  • Creating a safe and stress-free environment where all members of the household can coexist peacefully

After 20+ years of treating aggressive cat behavior, our team has created a proprietary treatment plan involving classical conditioning and positive reinforcement. This incredibly unique treatment is based on a robust foundation of scientific research as well as in-person experience. After completing the Indirect Assessment of Feline Behavior, our pre-training team will come up with a cat training plan to modify your cat’s aggressive behavior. Extensive research in cat behavior, such as the study conducted by Mills et al. (2004) in which 8000 instances of cat aggression were analyzed, supports the effectiveness of our treatment. Through our scientific approach, we empower cat owners with the knowledge and tools necessary to modify their cats’ behavior. According to our Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist, Dr. Echterling-Savage, “By reducing and eliminating aggression in cats we create harmony in your home. Creating a stress-free environment for everyone is at the heart of what we do at Beyond the Dog.”

The Executive Training Program offers comprehensive on-location training sessions tailored to your cat’s specific needs. Over the course of three to four weeks, you’ll receive 1-hour sessions, three days a week. Upon submitting your training contract and completing the Indirect Assessment of Feline Behavior, our pre-training team, under the guidance of Dr. Echterling-Savage, meticulously designs a personalized training program for your cat. Your designated trainer will then conduct two one-on-one sessions with your cat each week, focusing on targeted behavioral modifications. The third session, dedicated to developing your cat training skills, ensures a holistic approach to pet training and integration. Please be advised that additional fees may apply if the indirect behavior assessment indicates severe behavior issues in your cat, as confirmed by our expert team.

If you are a pet parent with an insurance policy covering behavior modification, our cat aggression behavior modification is likely covered. Most companies with behavior policies such as Trupanion cover behavioral training when under the direction of a CAAB or a Board Certified Veterinary Behaviorist.
