Congressman Bill Archer Dog Park
Congressman Bill Archer Dog Park is huge, with a sprawling 14 acres dedicated to large dogs and a cozy 3 acres just for small dogs. With plenty of space, agility equipment, and shaded areas, it’s an ideal place for energetic dogs like Australian Shepherds and Weimaraners to run, play, and enjoy one of our favorite dog parks in Houston.
Millie Bush Dog Park
Millie Bush Park is another one of the largest dog parks in Houston, covering 8 acres. It has separate fenced areas for small and large dogs. Your dog can enjoy swimming in one of the dog pools. After a day of play, there are wash stations available to help clean up before heading home.
Johnny Steele Dog Park
Johnny Steele Dog Park on Allen Parkway features two fenced areas for small and large dogs and a pond where dogs can splash around. The park includes water stations, shaded areas, and a dog washing station. Located near Buffalo Bayou, there are several Instagram-worthy spots to capture your dog’s adventures. This includes local landmarks like the Rosemont Pedestrian Bridge and the Waugh Drive Bat Colony.
Levy Dog Park
Levy Dog Park offers two separate fenced in areas for small and large breed dogs. It has artificial turf and mounds and water stations. Your pup will have plenty of space to run around. Levy Park hosts many events throughout the year. The park has two dog-friendly restaurants inside the park with Gaspascho’s Mexican Bites and Hearsay Gastro Lounge. Which both have cozy patios where pups are welcome. There is also a Kind Ice Cream truck to help cool down in the Texas summer heat.
Danny Jackson Family Bark Park
Danny Jackson Family Bark Park is a 2.6-acre park with separately fenced small and large breed areas. With dog pools, a washing station, and shaded structures, it’s a fun location for your dog to cool off during the Texas summers.
Alexander Deussen Dog Park
Alexander Deussen Dog Park features two fenced areas for small and large dogs across 7 acres. The dog park offers an agility course and grassy areas for play. It is situated within the 309-acre Alexander Deussen Park, overlooking scenic Lake Houston.
