The 7th inning stretch may look a bit more furry on Sunday, August 28th at the 1:10PM Astro’s game. The annual “Dog Day” at our very own Houston Astros Minute Maid park is back and ready for action. Once per year, Minute Maid opens their doors up for you AND you pup to watch the Astros take on the Baltimore Orioles at our home field. In addition to sharing hotdogs and watching a great game (we are already drooling over all of the baseballs), there will be dog friendly activities ready for you and your dog to take on together!
Game Day Ticket Information
In order to bring your dog to the game, you will need to purchase a ticket for yourself AND a ticket for your dog, as designated on their website. If you do not have a specific Dog Day ticket, you and your pup will not be allowed access into the park. Only one dog per one human will be allowed.
Tickets for the Astros Dog Day will go on sale sometime in late June. Please check back to the MLB website, at that time for more information!
For your dog to be able to enter the ballpark, you will need to have a copy of their vaccination records and a signed waiver from their site. If you have any questions, they ask for you to please reach out to dogforms@astros.com.
