A good time with dogs in costumes, food, drinks, AND supporting homeless pets? Count us in! Houston Pets Alive! Is back again with their Barktoberfest celebrations.

When: Saturday, October 15th from 2-6 PM
Where: Powder Keg, 1300 Brittmore Road, Houston, TX 77043
This event is free to attend! Enjoy music, food, and beer while you walk your dog around the vendor market and silent auction. You can purchase beer tickets upon arrival or online, and there will be food trucks on site! If you think your dog is dressed to impress, consider registering them for the costume contest. There will be celebrity judges ready to watch your dog strut their stuff, including KPRC Today’s very own Traffic Expert, Anavid Reyes. They will be judging four categories: most creative costume, funniest costume, cutest costume, and judges’ favorite, and those winners will receive a prize valued at up to 200 dollars or more! The event will also give away a commemorative glass and one free beer for the first 350 beer/combo tickets they sell. Event proceeds are going towards Houston Pets Alive!, helping save the lives of at-risk cats and dogs.
