Minuti Coffee is an American-Italian rooted coffee shop which offers a variety of beverages and cafe food items. Depending on the specific location, all are dog friendly on the outside patio and will whip up a “puppy latte” for you, however, some select locations are even dog friendly on the inside! The Midtown Houston location is one of those located at 114 Gray St. Houston, TX 77002. Perfect for a rainy day, a human and puppy latte, and some cozy vibes.

Little Woodrows is a “watering hole” that has multiple locations across the Houston area, as well as other parts of Texas. You’ll find each location is a little bit unique from the others, however most all focus around a lively scene with plenty of televisions directed at sports, cornhole boards, and a good time! Most locations don’t have a kitchen, however they almost always have some food options available whether it’s a steak night, food truck, or crawfish season. We always find the staff love to come up and say hello to any training dogs we bring in, they have steel water bowls on site for those extra sunny days, and sometimes they even have milk bone treats. If you are REALLY feeling adventurous and your pup likes a crowd, the Midtown Houston locations seasonally hosts “turtle races” which is a must-do if you haven’t yet.

Axelrad is a Beer Garden located just South of Midtown that has great vibes both during the day and night. We recommend you check out both! During the day, there is plenty of seating, and they are well-known for their many tree hammocks. Get there early to snag one! At nightime, they have a great light setup, and on most nights you’ll find some variety of entertainment. From live bands to food trucks to move nights, AxelRad is definitely worth a visit. There is a park just next door so if your pup needs a potty break, it’s an easy walk right over and back.

TruckYard itself has a great outdoor “yard” full of vintage neon furniture to keep the vibes high, food trucks, and a great selection of cocktails and craft beers. They even have a functioning mini Ferris wheel which when running you can ride! (No dogs allowed on for that part of course to keep them safe). Creek Canyon in Houston - Dog Friendly Guide

Pictured is our very own BTD graduate Rosie taken at Canyon Creek off of Washington by Memorial Park. We love that each one of the Creek Group’s locations is a little bit unique to itself. All locations are inspired by floating down a river on a hot Texas Day, so they are ALL known for their frozen mimosas made with Blue Moon beer. They offer a great variety of brunch, lunch and dinner options, and when crawfish is in season this is definitely you’re spot! You’ll find stainless steel water bowls hanging around the outdoor decks for your pup, and if you come out for a Sunday Funday, we can almost guarantee you’ll see lots of like minded dog-parents with the same idea!
