Knights of Lights
Visit Kansas City’s annual Renaissance Festival this holiday season over at 633 N 130th St, Bonner Springs, KS. This winter wonderland is full of lights, shopping, food, and entertainment. There is a lighted maze with half a million lights where you can encounter Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Barbie the Christmas Elf! Kids can enjoy free hot cocoa and pups will leave with a free goodie bag. You can even make a reservation to dine in a private igloo! The festival is open Friday-Sunday until December 31st. Tickets are $17 per adult, $9 per child, and $5 per dog.
Sar-Ko Aglow Light Display
Take your pup for a dazzling, festive walk through the Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park in Lenexa! Sar-Ko Aglow is one of Kansas City’s top holiday light displays where you can enjoy miles of twinkling lights. Be sure to walk around Rose’s Pond to view gorgeous reflections on the water. You can bring the whole family to take stunning holiday photos.
Merry Market at Art Garden KC
Shop the Merry Market located at 20 East 5th StreetKansas City, MO, 64106 from 10 am – 5 pm on Nov. 24-26, Dec. 2-3, Dec 9-10, and Dec. 16-17! With over 100 local Kansas City vendors, you can find something on everyone’s wishlist this holiday season. Enjoy holiday treats and sip seasonal beverages as you and your pup shop the market. There will also be entertainment like live music, performances, Santa sightings, and more!
Photos with Santa at Town Center Plaza
Visit the Town Center Plaza in Leawood on weekdays until December 15th for pet photos with Santa! Schedule your appointment on their website for a 3-5 minute photo session with the big man. Pets must be friendly and well-behaved and on a leash, in a carrier, or held by their owner at all times. Upon arrival, you can let a member of the staff know that you have a furry friend with you. You and your pet will wait outside until their turn. Human-only sessions are now until December 23rd.
Fort Osage Christmas Trees
You can cut down your very own Christmas Tree over at Fort Osage located at 3022 N Twyman Rd. Independence, MO 64058. Well-behaved pups on leash are welcome to enjoy the Christmas harvest! Check their website before attending as their schedule fluctuates based on supplies.
