Barktoberfest Austin

Barktoberfest promises to be one of the most dog-friendly events this fall. The event will include photo ops, over 30 vendors, a 1k and 5k fun run, and a canine costume contest. You can find more information and purchase tickets on their website.
Pet-Tober Fest 2024
When: Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 10:00 am-4 pm
Where: The Domain Austin, The Lawn in front of IPIC theaters.
Pet-toberfest is a fun event with live music, vendors, and costume contests. Located in the Domain, a bustling shopping and residential area often called Austin’s second downtown. You can find more details on the Pet-Tober Fest website here.
Mighty Texas Dog Walk
When: November 16, 2024, from 9 am – 1 pm
Where: Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas
The Mighty Texas Dog Walk is a one-mile dog walk that has accumulated 12 Guinness world records, including the “most dogs walked” at 3,117. This event also has activities and vendors, and 100% of event profits benefit ” Service Dogs Inc.”
Owners must always keep their dogs leashed, and ticket prices vary. Tickets can be found on the Mighty Texas Dog Walk website.
