Go Pumpkin Picking at one of Houston’s Only Dog-Friendly Pumpkin Patches
Where: Old Time Christmas Tree Farm at 7632 Spring Cypress Rd, Spring, TX 77379
When: Fridays from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Saturdays & Sundays from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm. Pumpkin patch open 9/30/2023 – 10/29/2023
For $10 per person, you can pick pumpkins with your dog, eat some delicious BBQ, and visit the train ride, hay ride, petting zoo, and more with the whole family! Your dog will even get a complimentary doggie bag at the entry gate! Attraction tickets and tickets to the pumpkin patch are sold separately. We love the farm as it is an excellent place to socialize your puppy or practice some manners and obedience.
Attend Barktoberfest
Where: Powder Keg at 1300 Brittmoore Road Houston, TX 77043
When: Saturday, October 14th, from 2:00pm – 6:00pm
Support an amazing cause while getting in the fall spirit at this fantastic party centered around your four-legged friend. Houston Pets Alive! is hosting this year’s event and proceeds will help save the lives of homeless pets. Enter your dog in their costume contest, participate in the silent auction, and enjoy many local vendors. The event is free to attend but you must register in advance.
Shop at One of Houston’s Best Dog-Friendly Farmer’s Markets
Where: Tomball Farmers Market – 205 W Main St, Tomball, TX 77375
When: Saturdays from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Shop over 70 local vendors at one of Houston’s only dog-friendly farmers markets! Started by two young moms, this farmers market has so many different local products to choose from: fresh produce, meat, bread, pastries, salsa, dog treats, cheeses, jewelry, craft items, and more! Treat yourself and your pup while shopping locally.
A Chance to Win $250 in this Halloween Dog Costume Contest

Fall Photo Shoot with Your Dog
Fall is one of the best times to take family photos or gorgeous shots of your dog by the fall foliage. Some of our favorite Houston photoshoot spots are McGovern Centennial Gardens in Hermann Park, Buffalo Bayou Park, and Memorial Park.
